After more than 30 years as a senior executive with major health insurance companies and benefit consulting firms, founded The Grant Group, an employee benefits marketing company.

He is credited with the marketing of more employee benefit programs to Global 500 companies (70+ F500 clients), unions (UAW) and other large organizations, including governmental entities (U.S. Marine Corps, State of Michigan and the AARP).

Throughout his successful career, Don marketed and sold the first PPO and the first Group Legal programs in America while with Prudential Group, to the Chrysler Corporation. He also marketed the first Health Risk Appraisal to General Motors, which was the genesis of wellness programs in America. Don initiated the marketing of the first major Telemedicine program in America to the 110,000 employees of Hilton Hotels Worldwide.

In 2005, Don addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations on Global Telemedicine to the Heads of State and the 190 Ambassadors.

And recently addressed them again in September, 2018, and again in 2019 to the 400+ Global CEO’s of the Private Sector Forum of the UN, on the subject of Global Wellness and Global Happiness.

Part of this address presented a Wellness Program for guests of hotels and resorts called Hospitality Wellness Program which provides a solution for the number one concern guests have when visiting any property...”What happens if I, or a member of my family, get sick or injured while there...?”

As Chief Marketing Officer for two prosperous startups (UltraLink and eBenX), both health care administration companies, he was a driver for a successful $Billion IPO.

Most recently, Don has consulted with companies, especially those in the hospitality sector, who want to enhance their wellness brand. He has partnered with Hilton Hotels Worldwide, Disney Hotels, Bass Hotels and several Hawaiian and European hotels in the past...so he understands the hospitality sector.

We are now active members of the following prestigious hospitality associations: American Hotel & Lodging Association, Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association, International Luxury Hotel Association, Cruise Line International Association, and Hawai’i Tourist & Lodging Association.

Don's military service includes proudly serving as a decorated U.S. Marine Corps Sniper and he traces his American Indian heritage to the Blackfoot Tribe.
